Senior Operations Manager
Operations•New York, NY•Full-time
Senior Operations Manager
We're looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead our East Coast logistics operations. You'll oversee a team of 30+ logistics coordinators, manage carrier relationships across road, ocean, and air freight, and drive continuous improvement in our operational KPIs — from on-time delivery rates to cost-per-shipment reduction.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations for the East Coast logistics hub, managing a team of 30+ coordinators and supervisors
- Own carrier performance management — quarterly scorecards, SLA adherence, and relationship management
- Drive cost optimization initiatives targeting 12%+ annual reduction in per-unit logistics costs
- Collaborate with the technology team to improve routing algorithms and visibility tools based on operational feedback
- Manage escalations for high-value or time-critical shipments requiring executive-level intervention
- Report weekly operational KPIs to the COO and identify trends before they become problems
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a management role overseeing multi-modal freight
- Deep understanding of FTL, LTL, ocean FCL/LCL, and air freight operations
- Experience managing carrier relationships and negotiating rate contracts
- Strong analytical skills — you live in spreadsheets and dashboards to spot patterns others miss
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where decisions need to be made with 80% of the information
- Supply chain or logistics certification (CSCP, CLTD, or similar) preferred
Cold Chain Logistics Specialist
Specialized Logistics•Chicago, IL•Full-time
Cold Chain Logistics Specialist
Join our cold chain division and help pharmaceutical and food clients ship temperature-sensitive products with confidence. You'll design and qualify cold chain lanes, manage IoT monitoring infrastructure, and work directly with clients to build logistics solutions that meet GDP and FDA regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Design and qualify temperature-controlled shipping lanes for pharmaceutical clients across North America and Europe
- Manage IoT sensor deployment and real-time temperature monitoring for active shipments
- Develop packaging validation protocols including thermal profiling and summer/winter qualification
- Respond to temperature deviation alerts within 15 minutes and coordinate intervention protocols
- Maintain GDP-compliant documentation for all cold chain shipments — chain of custody, temperature records, and deviation reports
- Train warehouse and driving staff on cold chain handling SOPs including pre-cooling and reefer unit procedures
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in cold chain logistics, with pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of GDP guidelines, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and ICH Q9 quality risk management
- Experience with IoT temperature monitoring platforms and data logger validation
- Understanding of active vs. passive cold chain packaging systems and phase-change materials
- Ability to make fast, sound decisions when temperature excursions threaten product integrity
- Relevant certifications (ISTA, IATA CEIV Pharma, or PDA) are a plus
Customs Brokerage Manager
Trade Compliance•Miami, FL•Full-time
Customs Brokerage Manager
Lead our customs brokerage team and keep goods moving across borders without delays. You'll oversee tariff classification, duty optimization, and trade compliance for hundreds of clients importing and exporting through 42 countries. This is a role for someone who sees customs not as a bottleneck but as a strategic lever.
What You'll Do
- Manage a team of 8 licensed customs brokers handling 2,000+ entries per month across air, ocean, and road
- Oversee HS code classification accuracy and audit readiness for all client accounts
- Develop duty optimization strategies including FTAs, bonded warehousing, and duty drawback programs

- Build relationships with CBP officials at key ports of entry and resolve clearance issues within hours
- Train internal teams and clients on trade compliance best practices and documentation standards
What We're Looking For
- Licensed US Customs Broker (LCB) required
- 7+ years in customs brokerage with at least 2 years in a management role
- Deep knowledge of HTSUS classification, valuation, and country of origin determination
- Experience with ACE, DIS, and major brokerage software platforms

- Multilingual preferred — Spanish, Mandarin, or German are valuable in our trade lanes
Logistics Technology Engineer
Technology•New York, NY (Hybrid)•Full-time
Logistics Technology Engineer
Build the systems that power our logistics operations. As a Logistics Technology Engineer, you'll develop and maintain our real-time tracking infrastructure, API integrations with carrier systems, and internal tools that our operations team uses every day to move thousands of shipments.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain real-time shipment tracking infrastructure ingesting data from carriers, vessels, and IoT sensors
- Build and maintain REST APIs for client-facing dashboards, shipment booking, and status notifications
